Testimony Wraps Up In Plavix Trial

Law360, New York (February 16, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- After about five years spent fighting over the blood-thinner Plavix, three pharmaceutical companies inched closer to a resolution, with the trial over the drug’s patent drawing to a close on Thursday.

Instead of closing arguments, Judge Sidney H. Stein of the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York asked attorneys for Sanofi-Aventis, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Apotex Inc. to submit briefs.
