Law360, New York (September 08, 2010, 6:27 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation on Wednesday recommended against granting Virgin Blue Group and Delta Air Lines Inc.'s bid for antitrust immunity to coordinate flights between Australia and the U.S.
The DOT concluded in an order that Delta and Virgin Blue had not demonstrated that the alliance would provide enough public benefits to justify a grant of immunity.
