Law360, New York (March 07, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Angered by Spain’s continued lack of response, the European Commission on Wednesday formally requested that country’s energy authority withdraw conditions it imposed on the E.On-Endesa merger.
The formal request came after Spanish energy regulator CNE failed to respond to two letters from the Commission that said the merger conditions violated European Union rules.
