Fuel Co. Fights To Revive PR Ports Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (November 04, 2010, 12:02 PM ET) -- A fuel provider is appealing a district court's gutting of a $14 million suit accusing the Puerto Rican Ports Authority and the operations manager of a Puerto Rico airport of racketeering and monopolization.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on Tuesday opened the docket in Orocovis Petroleum Corp.'s challenge to the dismissal of four of five counts in its suit, which alleges the ports authority and Luis Munoz Marin International Airport operations manager Fred Sosa cooperated to deny Orocovis an operating permit....
