Law360, New York (November 30, 2010, 2:47 PM ET) -- Singapore Airlines Ltd.'s air cargo unit has agreed to plead guilty to federal price-fixing charges and pay a $48 million criminal fine, becoming the 20th airline to be charged in the government's ongoing investigation into price-fixing in the air transportation industry.
The U.S. Department of Justice announced the forthcoming guilty plea on Tuesday, and said it filed a one-count felony charge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against Singapore Airlines Cargo Pte Ltd.
