Law360, New York (September 07, 2011, 1:20 PM ET) -- College athletes in an antitrust class action against Electronic Arts Inc. and the National Collegiate Athletic Association asked a California federal judge for permission Wednesday to use testimony from a former NCAA director that was taken in a separate lawsuit.
The athletes, who claim the video game publisher conspired with the NCAA to profit off their likenesses, want to introduce deposition testimony taken in 2007 from Walter Byers, who served as the NCAA's executive director from 1951 to 1987.
