Law360, New York (September 12, 2011, 5:57 PM ET) -- California aftermarket auto lights distributor Maxzone Vehicle Lighting Corp. will pay $43 million to settle criminal charges that it participated in a worldwide price-fixing conspiracy, prosecutors announced Monday.
Maxzone conspired with other manufacturers and distributors to eliminate competition by fixing prices for aftermarket auto lights, which are installed into vehicles after their original sale as repairs or upgrades, according to prosecutors.
