Judge Freezes Part Of Urethane Litigation

Law360, New York (July 05, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- With a settlement in the works, the judge overseeing the long-running antitrust litigation over the urethane market has decided to heed the request of some of the plaintiffs and halt the proceedings against defendant Chemtura Corp.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge John Lungstrum approved the stay of litigation that had been sought earlier by the so-called polyester polyl plaintiffs in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
