Law360, New York (January 18, 2012, 7:41 PM ET) -- The U.K. Office of Fair Trading referred its investigation of the country’s concrete mix and cement industry to the Competition Commission on Wednesday, finding the industry had a number of features that could harm competition.
The OFT submitted the investigation of competition in the aggregates, cement and ready-mix concrete markets to the Commission after a six-week public consultation, saying it continued to believe that competition in Great Britain may be adversely affected.
