Law360, New York (February 07, 2012, 7:14 PM ET) -- After facing a number of setbacks, prosecutors are considering dropping a major Foreign Corrupt Practices Act case accusing military equipment industry executives of bribing Gabonese officials to win business, prosecutors told a Washington federal judge Tuesday.
The prosecutors told U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon during a status conference that they were thinking over the implications of recent rulings that have been unfavorable to the prosecution, including a mistrial and two acquittals last week.
