India Launches Another Probe Into Google Ad Policies

Law360, New York (July 09, 2012, 4:50 PM ET) -- Google Inc. on Monday reportedly faced a new probe from India's competition watchdog into allegations that the search giant is abusing its dominant position in online advertising, two months after the authority launched a similar investigation.

The Competition Commission of India has begun to look into allegations of anti-competitive practices by Google after a complaint lodged with the watchdog by consumer group CUTS International, according to a report published Monday by the Indo-Asian News Service.
