Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 6:14 PM ET) -- Fiberglass insulation contractor Masco Corp. has agreed to hand over $75 million to settle a price-fixing class action brought by independent contractors in Georgia federal court, according to Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The class action, filed in October 2004, accuses Masco of violating federal antitrust laws by orchestrating a conspiracy between several fiberglass insulation manufacturers to fix prices from Jan. 1, 1999, to 2004.
