Ex-American Antitrust Institute Official Named To FTC

Law360, New York (August 03, 2012, 7:43 PM ET) -- The Federal Trade Commission has tapped Richard Brunell, the former director of legal advocacy for the American Antitrust Institute, to come aboard as senior adviser for competition matters, it said Friday.

In his new position, Brunell will work on an array of competition issues, including advocacy and appellate matters, according to the FTC.

Brunell will be working with the chairman's office, the office of general counsel, and the bureau of competition, the commission said.
