Live Nation Denied Early Win In Promoter's Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (August 23, 2012, 10:33 PM ET) -- A Maryland federal judge on Thursday refused to toss a concert promoter’s antitrust suit alleging Live Nation Entertainment Inc. had unlawfully amassed monopoly power and restrained competition through illegal tying arrangements with artists, saying additional discovery was needed.
