Ameritox Faces FCA Suit Over Physician Kickbacks

Law360, New York (September 18, 2012, 4:43 PM ET) -- Drug-testing specialist Ameritox Ltd. defrauded Medicare and Medicaid by doling out a huge assortment of kickbacks to attract more physician customers and designing its business model with the goal of encouraging unnecessary testing, according to a False Claims Act complaint unsealed Friday.
