Law360, Los Angeles (September 21, 2012, 10:00 PM ET) -- Russia-based JSC Uralkali has agreed to pay $12.75 million to settle class action allegations that it was involved in an international conspiracy to fix the global price of the fertilizer ingredient potash, the company said Thursday.
The agreements release Uralkali and its trader Uralkali Trading SA from claims brought by indirect and direct U.S. purchasers of potash, including Minn-Chem Inc., Gage's Fertilizer & Grain Inc. and Thomasville Feed & Seed Co.
