DOJ Antitrust Chief Warns Of Patents' Antitrust Risks

Law360, New York (September 21, 2012, 8:14 PM ET) -- U.S. Department of Justice antitrust chief Joseph Wayland warned Friday that patent holders could run afoul of the watchdog even if they're not enforcing standard-essential patents, saying that trying to force licensees to accept certain kinds of anti-competitive contract terms might spark an antitrust probe.
