Brazil Watchdog Flexes Cartel Muscle With Salt Raids

Law360, New York (September 26, 2012, 8:02 PM ET) -- Brazil's antitrust watchdog said Tuesday that it had raided several salt producers over a suspected cartel, an announcement attorneys say is designed to show that the short-staffed regulator has not become too bogged down with the transition to the country's new competition law to take on new enforcement cases.
