Music Exec Loses Bid To Appeal E-Book Price-Fixing Deal

Law360, New York (October 03, 2012, 2:32 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday blocked a music executive’s bid to appeal an e-book price-fixing settlement between the U.S. Department of Justice and three major publishers, ruling that as a consumer and nonparty to the litigation, he did not have the authority to challenge the deal.
