Law360, New York (October 17, 2012, 4:59 PM ET) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has hired Daniel Trujillo, currently the deputy general counsel of oil field services provider Schlumberger Ltd., to head the retail giant's international compliance programs, officials confirmed Wednesday.
Trujillo, who has spent 15 years at Schlumberger, will join Walmart as senior vice president and chief compliance officer for Wal Mart International. In the position, Trujillo will be responsible for reviewing, assessing and integrating Walmart's compliance efforts outside of the U.S., the company said in an internal memo announcing the hiring.
