Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 8:46 PM ET) -- The British House of Commons approved legislation to reform the country's competition law and advanced the measure to the House of Lords on Wednesday, including recently introduced amendments creating new defenses to criminal cartel charges.
The proposed Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill passed its third reading by 290 to 228, meaning that the measure will now move on to go through the same legislative process before the Parliament's upper chamber.
