West Penn Blasts UPMC Antitrust Claims In Hospital Feud

Law360, New York (October 23, 2012, 9:03 PM ET) -- The ongoing feud between rival Pennsylvania health care firms was elevated Monday when West Penn Allegheny Health System asked a federal judge to dismiss claims by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center that West Penn conspired with insurer Highmark to shut other providers out of the market.
