Comcast Attacks Cert. Basis In Supreme Court Antitrust Row

Law360, New York (October 25, 2012, 6:30 PM ET) -- Comcast Corp. told the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday that a group of Philadelphia-area cable subscribers accusing the company of monopolizing the regional market was attempting to divert attention from a lower court's class certification ruling.

The cable provider filed a reply brief saying the plaintiffs were raising superficial issues that did not address the company's contention that the Third Circuit relied on outdated legal thinking in making its certification decision.
