Brill, Ramirez Likely Picks To Head FTC, Experts Say

Law360, New York (February 01, 2013, 7:55 PM ET) -- Current Democratic commissioners Julie Brill and Edith Ramirez are the likely front-runners to take over as chair of the Federal Trade Commission after Jon Leibowitz steps down as chief of the agency Feb. 15, experts said Friday.

After months of speculation, the FTC chairman said Friday that he would step down after more than eight years serving as a commissioner at the antitrust and consumer protection watchdog.
