Law360, New York (May 04, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- The European Commission said Thursday that it has charged a number of makers of heavy electrical equipment for price-fixing and working in an alleged cartel.
The Commission said in a statement that it suspects that the firms fixed prices for gas-insulated switchgear and shared contracts, thereby restricting competition and violating European Commission treaty rules.
