Law360, New York (June 05, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Critics of a proposed merger between BellSouth and AT&T made their voices heard Monday, taking advantage of their last chance to ask the Federal Communications Commission to stop the $67 billion deal.
“The American consumer is being delivered into the grasp of a duopoly,” said Mark Cooper, of the Consumer Federation of America, one of the groups opposing the merger.
