Fish Sends 49 Packing Over Economy, Performance

Law360, New York (January 30, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Intellectual property firm Fish & Richardson PC announced Friday that 49 of its attorneys and technical specialists have been asked to leave the firm since November, citing performance evaluations and economic reality as reasons for the cuts.

Four legal staffers were dismissed Friday, the Boston-based firm said. It did not release the exact number of attorneys let go.
