Law360, New York (March 26, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- AmMed Direct LLC, a supplier of diabetes testing equipment and medication, has sued a Medco Health Solutions Inc. unit — Liberty Medical Supply Inc. — for allegedly stealing AmMed's business by telling its customers that they must switch to Liberty to keep receiving their products.
The suit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, accuses Medco and its subsidiary of engaging in unfair competition and violating several provisions of the Lanham Act.
