Conn. Accuses Power Cos. Of $86M Antitrust Scam

Law360, New York (April 20, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has reportedly taken aim at the operator of New England's power grid and some power generators, launching an antitrust investigation into their alleged acceptance of nearly $86 million in federal funds despite their failure to provide the region with electricity.
