Coppertone Maker Fired Up Over Neutrogena Ads

Law360, New York (April 23, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Schering-Plough Healthcare Products Inc., maker of Coppertone sunscreen, has sought an injunction barring Neutrogena Corp. from claiming in advertisements that sunscreens that don’t contain Neutrogena's Helioplex formula can't adequately block UV rays.

Schering filed the lawsuit Monday against Neutrogena in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware and subsequently filed a motion for a preliminary injunction Tuesday.
