Foot Locker Asst. Managers Win Certification

Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 4:02 PM ET) -- A federal judge has certified a collective action brought by assistant managers at Foot Locker Inc. claiming the retailer ran afoul of New York state and federal labor laws by letting store managers alter workers' time sheets to limit the number of recorded hours worked.

Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York signed off on a class of assistant managers who worked at Foot Locker stores in New York on Wednesday.
