Zimmer Loses Appeal To Keep Ex-VP From Rival

Law360, New York (February 25, 2010, 4:01 PM ET) -- An Indiana appeals court has denied a bid from orthopedic implant manufacturer Zimmer Inc. to bar a former vice president from working for rival Biomet Inc., upholding a lower court ruling that the executive would be unlikely to share information at his new job.

The Court of Appeals of Indiana on Tuesday tossed Warsaw, Ind.-based Zimmer's effort to preliminarily enjoin Todd Davis, the former vice president of its sports medicine business, from working for Biomet.
