9th Circ. Rejects En Banc Bid In $450M Superior Case

Law360, New York (March 19, 2010, 6:21 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has let stand its affirmation of a $450 million arbitration award in favor of insolvent Superior National Insurance Co. in a dispute over reinsurance coverage for workers' compensation policies, denying a request by U.S. Life Insurance Co. for an en banc hearing.
