Law360, New York (January 04, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Just months after securing a significant financial victory against Wal-Mart Stores Inc., a group of the retailer’s current and former Pennsylvania employees have returned to court in hopes of winning tens of millions of dollars in new wage-and-hour damages.
The plaintiffs gleaned a $78.5 million damage award in October, but said in court on Wednesday they deserve another $62 million because Wal-Mart allegedly violated a Pennsylvania labor law against companies acting in bad faith.
The new amount, if awarded, would equal roughly $500 in new damages...
