Law360, New York (March 30, 2010, 4:20 PM ET) -- H&R Block Inc. has reached a settlement with former mortgage loan officers who claimed the tax preparer's one-time mortgage loan subsidiaries failed to pay wages for overtime work or provide meal breaks.
Judge Cormac J. Carney of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California dismissed the case Monday, saying counsel had informed him of a deal to bring the case to a close. Terms of the settlement were not provided.
