Target Accused Of Age Discrimination

Law360, New York (January 24, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Target Corp. has been hit with a putative class action lawsuit alleging widespread age discrimination, the latest in a series of federal suits accusing the retailer of forcing out older employees.

The most recent suit was filed against Target in western Oklahoma on Tuesday, by a firm involved at least six other suits against Target over similar allegations. Of those seven pending lawsuits, one is in Texas, and the rest are in Oklahoma.
