Hilton, Execs Can't Kill Starwood Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (June 17, 2010, 3:49 PM ET) -- Hilton Hotels Corp. has lost its bid to derail a suit brought by rival Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. accusing two former Starwood executives of stealing confidential information and using it to develop a new Hilton hotel chain.

Judge Stephen Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York denied Hilton's motion to dismiss on Wednesday, allowing the case — which includes claims of computer fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty — to proceed....
