Former Regions Bank Teller Launches OT Action

Law360, New York (June 21, 2010, 6:24 PM ET) -- A former Regions Financial Corp. employee has ignited a putative class action accusing the bank of failing to pay its tellers proper overtime compensation.

Yolanda Saliford filed a complaint Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, alleging that Regions and Regions Bank violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to provide overtime compensation to nonexempt tellers whose workweeks exceeded 40 hours.
