EEOC Wins Bid For Names In Title VII Class Action

Law360, New York (July 23, 2010, 4:54 PM ET) -- A federal judge has ordered transportation company YRC Inc. to give the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which sued the company for discrimination, a list of black employees who worked at one of its Illinois facilities.

Magistrate Judge Susan E. Cox of the U.S. District Court for the District of Illinois issued the order Wednesday, rejecting YRC's arguments that the EEOC's request was too broad and that the EEOC violated federal rules because it never requested the list from the company before filing its motion....
