SEC Ends Probe Of KB Home Accounting, Disclosures

Law360, New York (September 02, 2010, 5:55 PM ET) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has completed an investigation into KB Home Inc. 's accounting and disclosures and does not plan to recommend any enforcement actions, the company said Wednesday.

The SEC's investigation of the Los Angeles-based homebuilder, rocked in recent years by a stock options backdating scandal, started in October and was previously disclosed in the company’s public filings.
