Graco's Secrets Suit Against Rival Sent To Mediation

Law360, New York (September 03, 2010, 1:03 PM ET) -- A magistrate judge has sent to mediation Graco Inc.’s long-running trade secrets, breach of contract and unfair competition case against rival Gama Machinery USA Inc., a former employee at a Graco subsidiary and others stemming from a 2005 acquisition.

Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Arpert of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Thursday determined that the matter was appropriate for mediation and appointed a mediator to hear the parties’ dispute.

Attorneys for Graco and Gama did not immediately return calls seeking comment....
