Deloitte Can't Appeal Discovery Order In Ex-Atty's Suit

Law360, New York (September 08, 2010, 7:50 PM ET) -- A Delaware state court judge has refused to certify an appeal of a discovery ruling compelling Deloitte LLP to produce documents the firm had tried to shield through attorney-client privilege in an employment case brought by disgraced partner Steven E. Klig.

Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster of the Delaware Court of Chancery's decision forces Deloitte to go to the Delaware Supreme Court to seek certification of an interlocutory appeal to protect the documents sought by the plaintiff.
