Visteon Retirees Lose Bid For Committee Status

Law360, New York (October 18, 2010, 6:30 PM ET) -- A federal judge denied a bid Monday by salaried Visteon Corp. retirees to form a committee representing their interests as the reorganized debtor appeals a court order reinstating retiree benefits for its bankruptcy period.

Judge Christopher S. Sontchi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware denied the motion after the debtor assured him it was complying with the order despite its appeal.
