Verizon Unit Faces OT Action By Former Manager

Law360, New York (October 26, 2010, 3:44 PM ET) -- A former network engineer at a Verizon Communications Inc. unit has launched a proposed collective action alleging the telecommunications company failed to pay proper overtime wages to certain managers.

Maryland resident Jeffrey Kee lodged the suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Oct. 19 that accuses Verizon Business Network Services Inc. of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.
