Paycheck Fairness Down, But Not Totally Out

Law360, New York (November 19, 2010, 5:39 PM ET) -- With the Paycheck Fairness Act dead in the water, employers have dodged major proposed changes to equal pay litigation, but the Obama administration, which strongly supported its passage, isn't entirely out of options, experts say.

The bill missed cloture by a vote of 58-41 on Wednesday, with U.S. Senate Democrats likely losing their last best chance to get the controversial proposal passed, at least for the foreseeable future, according to attorneys.
