Law360, New York (March 31, 2011, 8:32 PM ET) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Thursday accused a Texas county of retaliating against a secretary in the treasurer's office who filed an age discrimination complaint in 2009.
The EEOC accused Brooks County, in southern Texas, of refusing to hire a secretary at the county treasurer's office for a position at the county library because of previous age discrimination allegations she made, in a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
