Victoria's Secret Pressured Class Members: Plaintiff

Law360, New York (July 05, 2011, 3:56 PM ET) -- The plaintiff in a proposed class action alleging Limited Brands Inc.-owned Victoria’s Secret failed to pay executive assistants overtime asked a New York federal judge Friday to sanction the company for allegedly coercing potential class members not to join the action.

Named plaintiff Fredda Malena said Victoria’s Secret and its attorneys violated a court order by communicating with potential opt-in class members and pressuring them not to join the action by giving them “factually incorrect, misleading and prejudicial information.”
