Law360, New York (October 04, 2011, 6:23 PM ET) -- Workers for Tucker Communications Inc., a cable and Internet installation service contractor for Charter Communications Inc., filed a putative class action Monday in Georgia alleging Tucker failed to pay them overtime compensation.
Keith Jones filed the Fair Labor Standards Act suit on behalf of himself and a similarly situated class of nonexempt technicians, installers and other workers in similar positions who had been employed by Thomaston, Ga.-based Tucker within the last three years. The plaintiffs are seeking unpaid overtime wages, interest and costs.
