Production Company, Others Fined For Deadly Stage Collapse

Law360, New York (February 08, 2012, 10:43 PM ET) -- Indiana's Department of Labor on Wednesday hit production company Mid-America Sound Corp., a theatrical union and the Indiana State Fair Commission with fines for their culpability in a stage collapse last August that killed seven people.

The stage, where country band Sugarland was about to perform, collapsed when a storm with winds of 60 to 70 miles per hour suddenly blew into the fairgrounds.
