Mario Batali Gets Waitstaff Wage Action Off Plate For $5M

Law360, New York (March 06, 2012, 5:03 PM ET) -- Celebrity chef Mario Batali has reached a $5.25 million class action settlement with waitstaff at his New York City restaurants, ending a suit accusing him of skimming a share of alcohol sales from the tip pool and other wage-and-hour violations, according to documents filed Monday.
